Two things we thought our readers should know about:

+Our pals over at Project Rowhouse are about to be featured on HGTV’s Bang for Your Buck, in a program that looks at three Baltimore-area rooms that were renovated for less than $50,000. Their segment is set to air on Friday, September 11 at 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., witha repeat on October 13 at 9:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

+On Saturday, September 12 Live Baltimore will host its semi-annual homebuying fair and neighborhood tour. There will be all sorts of informational programs and fun tours (guided or self-driven, your choice) — but the real draw here is the $3,000 grant if you buy a home in one of the featured neighborhoods in the next three months. Who doesn’t love free money? Note:  this particular session features homes in “Baltimore East,” which generally refers to neighborhoods east of Charles Street. But never fear — the western half of the city will get its turn next.
